Intrusion Prevention Solutions
Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) are network security appliances that monitor network and/or system activities for malicious activity. The main functions of intrusion prevention systems are to identify malicious activity, log information about said activity, attempt to block/stop activity, and report activity. Cygnia provide both Gateway IPS which can be included as part of a firewall or network sensor behind the firewall and Network IPS sensors that are placed on strategic parts of the network to detect malicious activity within the LAN.
